Male 58 conebeam CTScan shows that there is a lack of bone in the front area of the upper jaw for placement of dental implants. To avoid major bone grafting and to simplify the dental implant treatment procedure, a sufficient number of dental implants must be placed at the back of the upper jaw so that a fixed bridge can be done. In this case, 10 implants were placed to support a 14 unit fixed bridge. Sinus lifting bone grafting was done for the back of the upper jaw to improve support for dental implants ( see link External Sinus Lift , Internal Sinus Lift ) |
